Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to products and services supplied by Four Leaf Trading Ltd, trading as CLV Grading ("CLV", "we", "us" or "our").

Four Leaf Trading Ltd
Company number: 17257994
Registered in England and Wales

Registered office:

These Terms apply to CLV grading, authentication, encapsulation, reholdering, crossover services, CLV Retail, CLV Trade, event submissions and any other services expressly offered by CLV.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. General

You must be aged 18 or over to enter into a contract with CLV. Where a person under 18 wishes to use our services, the transaction must be entered into by a parent, guardian or other legally capable adult.

CLV only grades card games and collectible categories that we currently support. Supported categories may change, and we may decline items that fall outside our supported services or cannot reasonably be processed.

Additional terms may apply to particular services, promotions, events or bespoke transactions. Where they conflict with these general Terms, the specific terms agreed for that transaction will take priority.

2. Grading Submissions

A submission may be created through our website or another method approved by CLV.

Creating an online submission does not itself mean the cards have been accepted for grading. A grading contract is normally formed once CLV receives, checks in and accepts the cards.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate submission, contact and delivery information.

Unless otherwise agreed, customers are responsible for sending cards to CLV and for the cost of doing so. Appropriate protective packaging and tracked, insured delivery are strongly recommended.

CLV is not responsible for cards before they are delivered into our possession.

Submissions not received within 14 days

An online submission that has not arrived within 14 calendar days may be cancelled in our system.

If the cards later arrive, the customer may choose to proceed under the prices, services and estimated turnaround times applying when the late submission is accepted, unless otherwise agreed.

If the customer decides not to proceed, the cards will be returned at the customer's cost.

3. How CLV Grades Cards

CLV operates a human-led grading process supported by artificial-intelligence-assisted verification.

Our standard process is:

Human Grading → AI Verification → Human Seconder → Finalisation & Encapsulation

AI-assisted tools may analyse card images, measurements, grading information and grader observations as an additional verification layer. Human graders remain responsible for the final CLV grading decision.

Further information is available on our How We Grade and AI Transparency pages.

A CLV grade represents our professional assessment of the card at the time it is graded.

Grading involves evaluative judgement. Another collector, dealer, marketplace, grading company or later CLV assessment may reach a different opinion.

A CLV grade therefore does not guarantee an identical grade from any other party.

4. CLOVER Subgrades and Final Grades

Where included within the selected service, cards may receive assessments under the published CLOVER grading categories.

The final grade is not necessarily the arithmetic average of the subgrades.

The severity, type and location of defects, applicable grade limits and the overall condition of the card may affect the final grade.

The CLV grading criteria in force when the service is performed form part of the description of our grading service.

Once grading has been completed and approved, the assigned grade is final for that submission.

CLV will not change a correctly recorded grade solely because:

  • the customer disagrees with it;

  • another grading company gives a different grade;

  • the card is worth more or less than expected; or

  • the customer would have preferred another result.

This does not affect rights relating to administrative errors or services that were not performed with the reasonable care and skill required by law.

5. Turnaround Times

Current advertised service levels may include estimated turnaround periods such as:

  • Basic — approximately 80 business days

  • Premier — approximately 40 business days

  • Diamond — approximately 20 business days

  • Platinum — approximately 5 business days

The applicable service level will be shown when the submission is made.

Turnaround starts once cards have been received, checked in and accepted by CLV.

Turnaround periods are estimates and are not guaranteed completion dates unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Return postage is not included within grading turnaround time.

High submission volumes, unusual cards, additional authentication work, equipment or technical problems, events outside our reasonable control and similar circumstances may extend processing time. Where a material delay occurs, we will aim to keep affected customers informed.

6. Refused, Altered or Unsupported Cards

CLV may refuse to grade or encapsulate a card where we reasonably believe that it:

  • may not be authentic;

  • has been altered, trimmed, recoloured, materially cleaned or modified;

  • cannot be authenticated with sufficient confidence;

  • falls outside our supported categories;

  • creates an unreasonable processing risk; or

  • is otherwise unsuitable for CLV certification.

Where grading or authentication work has already been performed before refusal, CLV may charge 50% of the applicable grading fee for that card.

The customer remains responsible for return-delivery costs.

Refusing to encapsulate a card does not necessarily mean CLV believes the submitter has acted fraudulently.

7. Cards in Third-Party Holders

Where a customer submits a card inside another grading company's holder for crossover or removal, the customer authorises CLV to open the holder and remove the card.

Removing cards from holders carries an inherent risk of accidental damage.

CLV will exercise reasonable care and skill and may refuse removal where we consider the risk unacceptable.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, CLV does not guarantee that the original holder, label or packaging will be preserved or returned.

8. Declared Value, Custody and Insurance

Where requested, customers must provide a reasonable declared value based on the card's ungraded market value at the time of submission.

There is no general £500 maximum declared value.

CLV may question or request evidence for a materially inaccurate declared value.

Declared value may be used to determine handling, insurance and return-delivery arrangements. It is not a guarantee of the card's market value.

CLV will take reasonable care of cards while they are in our possession.

For cards with an ungraded market value of £250 or less, CLV accepts responsibility for appropriate custody subject to these Terms and applicable law.

For cards above £250, additional insurance or protection may be arranged individually. Any additional third-party insurance cost may be passed to the customer where communicated and agreed.

9. Damage While in CLV's Possession

If CLV causes physical damage to a card while it is in our possession, we will investigate the matter.

The normal starting point for assessing direct card loss will be the reasonable ungraded market value immediately before the damage occurred, supported where appropriate by market evidence.

CLV may also offer grading credit or a discount as a goodwill measure.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or removes a consumer's statutory rights.

10. Return Delivery

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning their cards unless otherwise agreed.

CLV will select or propose an appropriate delivery method having regard to the nature and value of the submission.

For graded cards, insurance may take account of reasonable market evidence for comparable graded cards.

Applicable postage, courier and insurance charges will be communicated before dispatch and must be paid before cards are returned.

CLV may refuse to use a delivery service that provides inadequate protection for a high-value submission.

11. Payment and Uncollected Cards

Unless stated otherwise, grading fees are payable after grading has been completed and before cards are returned.

Cards may remain in CLV's custody until grading fees, return-delivery costs and other properly due charges have been paid.

Where payment remains outstanding, CLV will contact the customer using the details supplied with the submission.

Cards will ordinarily be retained for at least 14 calendar days after payment notice.

If payment remains outstanding, CLV may take reasonable steps to recover the amount owed and resolve custody of the cards.

This may include proposing to purchase the cards or arranging their sale, with the customer receiving an agreed amount based on reasonable ungraded market value after properly due sums have been taken into account.

Where payment to the customer requires bank details or other information, the customer must provide them within a reasonable period.

Ownership is not automatically forfeited merely because 14 days have elapsed.

Where cards remain uncollected or unpaid for an extended period, CLV may exercise any rights available under applicable law concerning unpaid charges, uncollected goods or sale of goods in our possession, including any legally required notice procedure.

12. Cancellation of Grading Services

Where statutory cancellation rights apply to a distance contract, CLV will honour them.

If the customer requests that CLV begins work during a statutory cancellation period, we may request the appropriate acknowledgement.

Where work has begun at the customer's request, an appropriate amount may be payable for work already completed where permitted by law.

Where a service has been fully performed following the legally required request or acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may cease to apply.

Nothing in these Terms removes a cancellation right provided by law.

13. CLV Certification

CLV certification confirms that CLV processed the card associated with the relevant certificate and assigned the recorded grade.

Certification does not guarantee:

  • future value or sale price;

  • investment performance;

  • acceptance by another grading company;

  • the same grade being awarded in future;

  • permanent physical preservation; or

  • agreement from another collector, dealer or grader.

Cards may change condition over time through storage, handling, environmental conditions, accidents or other causes.

CLV may maintain public certification records containing information including:

  • certificate number;

  • card details;

  • grade;

  • subgrades;

  • images;

  • population information; and

  • certification status.

Population data reflects information contained within the CLV system and may change as further cards are graded or records are corrected.

Opened or tampered holders

CLV certification applies to the card while it remains within the associated CLV holder.

Where a holder is opened, counterfeited, materially altered or tampered with, CLV may invalidate, suspend, flag or withdraw the certification.

Historical records may remain for audit or anti-fraud purposes.

Administrative errors

If CLV makes an administrative error such as an incorrect label, card description or certification record, contact hello@clvgrading.uk.

Where the error is ours, we will normally correct the record and, where necessary, relabel or reholder the card without charging for the correction.

14. CLV Retail

CLV Retail allows customers to purchase CLV graded cards and other collectible products directly from Four Leaf Trading Ltd.

We aim to describe products accurately. Where reasonably practical, higher-value individual slabs will be shown using photographs of the actual item.

Photography may be affected by reflections, lighting and screen settings. Customers should check the displayed card information and certificate number before purchasing.

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights where goods are faulty, materially misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

Prices and VAT

Consumer prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Four Leaf Trading Ltd is currently not VAT registered and therefore does not currently charge VAT as a VAT-registered trader.

If our VAT status changes, our prices, invoices and Terms will be updated as required.

Mandatory charges that can reasonably be calculated in advance will be disclosed before checkout.

Payment and order acceptance

Retail orders normally require payment at checkout.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean an order has been finally accepted where there is a genuine stock, payment, fraud, pricing or listing problem.

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch in-stock retail purchases within two business days after successful payment.

Delivery estimates supplied by postal or courier providers are normally estimates unless expressly guaranteed.

Consumer returns

Consumers purchasing online may have statutory cancellation rights.

Where applicable, customers will normally have 14 days after receiving the goods to notify us that they wish to cancel, followed by the applicable period for returning them.

Customers must take reasonable care of returned goods.

Opening or tampering with a graded holder may reduce the value of the product and may affect any refund where the law allows a deduction for diminished value.

Rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.

Pricing errors

Where an obvious and genuine pricing, stock or listing error occurs, CLV may contact the customer and, where legally permitted, cancel the order and provide a full refund.

We will not use this provision merely because the market value of a card changes after an order is legitimately placed.

15. CLV Trade

CLV Trade is a business-to-business service for approved businesses, resellers, retailers and streamers purchasing CLV-graded inventory for resale.

It is not intended for ordinary personal consumer purchases.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over and purchasing wholly or mainly in the course of business.

CLV may request information including business details, selling platforms, social-media accounts, trading history and expected purchasing volumes.

Applications may be approved or declined at CLV's discretion.

Trade accounts

Trade access is restricted to approved account holders.

Login details must not be shared with unauthorised parties. Account holders are responsible for maintaining account security and should notify CLV promptly of suspected unauthorised access.

Approval does not make the account holder an employee, agent, authorised representative or official CLV Partner.

Minimum order

Unless another quantity is stated for a particular offer, CLV Trade orders require a minimum purchase of 25 slabs.

Different minimum quantities may apply to promotions, clearance stock, negotiated orders or bespoke bundles.

Trade stock

Inventory may include individual slabs, photographed lots, mixed bundles, category-based inventory, clearance stock and bespoke packages.

Where a specific item or photographed lot is identified, that item will be supplied subject to genuine listing errors.

For assorted or mixed bundles, exact cards may vary unless specific cards have been expressly guaranteed.

Grades and resale performance

CLV grades represent CLV's assessment at the time of grading.

CLV does not guarantee another company will assign the same grade or value.

We do not guarantee:

  • resale price;

  • future value;

  • demand;

  • liquidity;

  • sales volume;

  • resale margin;

  • investment return; or

  • the period in which inventory may sell.

Trade customers are responsible for their own commercial decisions.

Trade pricing and VAT

Trade prices may differ from retail prices and may change before an order is accepted.

The VAT treatment applying when an order is placed will determine the amount payable.

If Four Leaf Trading Ltd becomes VAT registered, relevant pricing and invoices will be updated accordingly.

Trade contract and payment

Displaying inventory does not constitute acceptance of an order.

A binding contract is formed when CLV accepts the order through an order confirmation, invoice, payment confirmation, dispatch confirmation or other clear acceptance.

CLV may decline an order before acceptance due to stock availability, obvious errors, account restrictions, payment issues, suspected fraud or misuse.

Where payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, the affected amount will be refunded.

Payments may include website payment, PayPal, bank transfer or another expressly agreed method.

Unless written credit terms have been agreed, CLV is not required to dispatch goods until cleared payment is received.

Legal title to Trade goods remains with CLV until full cleared payment has been received.

Trade delivery

Delivery options and charges will be agreed or displayed before completion.

Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed.

Trade customers should inspect orders promptly and report materially damaged, incomplete or incorrect deliveries as soon as reasonably possible, retaining packaging and photographic evidence.

Trade returns

CLV Trade transactions are business purchases and do not receive consumer change-of-mind rights merely because the buyer no longer requires the stock, cannot sell it or is unhappy with resale performance.

This does not remove remedies where goods are materially misdescribed, incorrect or damaged through CLV's responsibility.

CLV may request photographs or other evidence and may offer an appropriate correction, replacement, return, credit or refund.

Goods subject to a claim should not knowingly be disposed of, altered or further damaged before CLV has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue.

Resale pricing

Trade customers are independent businesses and, unless a lawful specific agreement states otherwise, determine their own resale prices.

Any suggested retail price, market value or other pricing guidance supplied by CLV is non-binding.

CLV branding and Trade status

Purchasing CLV products does not transfer ownership of CLV intellectual property.

Trade customers may accurately state that genuine products have been graded by CLV.

They must not falsely claim to:

  • be CLV Grading;

  • be owned by CLV;

  • grade cards on behalf of CLV;

  • act as CLV's authorised agent;

  • be an official CLV Partner without that status; or

  • hold sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.

CLV Trade membership and CLV Partner status are separate.

Partner status may be granted, reviewed or withdrawn separately.

Trade customers are responsible for their own selling practices and for complying with applicable consumer, tax, advertising, platform and e-commerce requirements.

Suspension or termination

CLV may suspend, restrict or terminate Trade access where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

  • non-payment;

  • fraud or attempted fraud;

  • account sharing;

  • unauthorised access;

  • misuse of Trade pricing;

  • repeated breaches of these Terms;

  • misuse of CLV intellectual property;

  • misleading claims about association with CLV;

  • activity threatening the integrity of CLV certification; or

  • other serious misuse.

CLV may also discontinue a Trade relationship for legitimate commercial reasons.

Ending Trade access does not cancel existing payment obligations.

Confidential information

Non-public Trade pricing, stock information, wholesale arrangements, promotional information and other information identified as confidential may be commercially sensitive.

Customers must not deliberately distribute protected credentials or provide unauthorised access to restricted Trade areas.

Stock and bespoke orders

Stock remains subject to availability until an order is accepted.

If inventory cannot be supplied because of a genuine stock error, CLV may offer an alternative, amend the order with agreement, issue agreed credit or refund the affected amount.

Specific written terms applying to a bespoke or bulk transaction take priority over these general Trade provisions for that transaction.

Nothing about CLV Trade creates a partnership, agency, employment relationship, franchise or joint venture between CLV and the customer.

16. In-Person and Event Submissions

CLV may accept submissions at card shows, conventions, retail locations and other approved events.

Prices, services, turnaround times and payment arrangements may differ from the website.

An in-person contract is normally formed when CLV receives, checks and accepts the cards.

Customers should receive a submission reference, receipt or other record and are responsible for providing accurate information.

Once CLV accepts physical custody of an event submission, our normal custody, value, insurance and damage provisions apply.

Cards transported by CLV from an event to our grading premises remain in CLV's custody during transport.

Event payments

Depending on the event, CLV may accept:

  • cash;

  • card;

  • electronic payment;

  • bank transfer;

  • PayPal; or

  • another approved method.

Cards taken away for grading

Where cards are accepted at an event for grading elsewhere, the customer authorises CLV to transport and retain them for the purpose of grading.

Unless collection is expressly agreed, the customer remains responsible for insured return delivery.

Live grading

Selected events may offer live or accelerated grading.

Live grading is subject to availability, card suitability, capacity and event restrictions.

Separate live-grading terms may apply and will take priority where they conflict with these general Terms.

CLV may decline or stop live grading where further authentication, investigation, equipment or processing is required and may instead offer normal grading.

Event collection

Customers collecting cards at an event must return within any communicated collection period.

CLV may require identification, a receipt or submission reference before releasing cards.

Uncollected cards may enter CLV's normal custody process and require insured return delivery at the customer's cost.

17. Intellectual Property

The CLV website, branding and services contain intellectual property owned by Four Leaf Trading Ltd or used with permission.

This may include:

  • the CLV name, trademarks and logos;

  • website content and designs;

  • the CLOVER grading framework and explanatory material;

  • slab-label designs and artwork;

  • graphics and marketing material;

  • CLV photography;

  • certification layouts;

  • database rights and structures; and

  • other original CLV materials.

No use of CLV services transfers ownership of these rights.

Trading-card artwork, characters, game names, publishers' trademarks and related third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, CLV is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed or operated by the manufacturers or intellectual-property owners of cards that we grade.

CLV may use AI-assisted tools when creating label artwork, promotional material and other visual content. Further information is available through our AI Transparency page.

18. Genuine and Counterfeit CLV Certification

Owners and legitimate sellers of genuine CLV-certified cards may accurately describe those cards as graded by CLV, display photographs of them and link to genuine public certification records.

This does not permit false claims of official partnership, sponsorship, agency or endorsement.

You must not create, distribute, sell or knowingly use counterfeit CLV:

  • slabs or holders;

  • labels;

  • certificates;

  • certificate numbers; or

  • other materials designed to falsely represent CLV certification.

You must not knowingly:

  • apply a genuine certificate number to another card;

  • reproduce CLV labels for unauthorised holders;

  • alter a CLV grade or certification record;

  • represent an opened or altered slab as intact;

  • impersonate the CLV verification service; or

  • use CLV branding to make counterfeit certification appear genuine.

CLV may investigate suspected misuse, flag or invalidate compromised certification numbers and report suspected unlawful conduct to platforms, service providers or authorities where appropriate.

19. Certificate Verification and Population Data

A successful certificate-number search confirms that a corresponding record exists within CLV's system.

It does not by itself prove that a physical slab offered by a third party is genuine.

Buyers should compare the card, holder, label, certificate number and available verification information.

Public certification and population data may be used for legitimate collecting, research, buying and selling purposes.

Reasonable linking to individual certificate pages is permitted.

Automated scraping, harvesting or reproduction of substantial parts of CLV's database is prohibited where it:

  • disrupts the website;

  • circumvents access controls;

  • creates an unauthorised competing database;

  • facilitates fraud or counterfeiting;

  • infringes rights; or

  • otherwise breaches applicable law.

CLV may restrict access where automated activity threatens the security, availability or integrity of our systems.

20. Website Use

CLV aims to keep its website, Trade area and certification services available and accurate, but continuous uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Maintenance, outages, security work and technical problems may occasionally affect availability.

Temporary website unavailability does not invalidate genuine certification.

Users must not knowingly use CLV systems to:

  • commit or facilitate fraud;

  • gain unauthorised access;

  • interfere with security;

  • distribute malicious software;

  • obtain another person's private information without authority;

  • impersonate another person or business;

  • manipulate certification records;

  • circumvent Trade restrictions; or

  • otherwise use the service unlawfully or materially disrupt it.

CLV may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect its systems, customers or business.

21. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected.

For consumers, CLV is responsible for foreseeable losses resulting from our breach of contract or failure to exercise the standard of care required by law.

We are not responsible for losses that are not attributable to our breach or failure.

Market values and grading opinions

Collectible values may rise or fall significantly.

CLV does not guarantee:

  • future value;

  • resale price;

  • liquidity;

  • appreciation;

  • another grading company's opinion; or

  • the financial effect of receiving a particular grade.

A different grading opinion from another grader, dealer, marketplace, auction house or collector does not by itself establish that CLV failed to perform the service properly.

Customer information

Customers are responsible for supplying accurate information.

CLV is not responsible for losses caused by materially incorrect information where we could not reasonably have been expected to identify the error.

Delivery providers

CLV may use Royal Mail, couriers and other independent delivery providers.

Where we arrange return delivery, we will exercise reasonable care when selecting an appropriate service.

Transport losses will be dealt with according to applicable law, the relevant delivery contract and insurance arrangements.

Nothing transfers to consumers any risk which the law requires CLV to bear.

Events outside our control

CLV is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control where appropriate steps have been taken.

Examples include serious courier disruption, fire, flooding, severe weather, power or telecommunications failures, major technology outages, cyberattacks despite reasonable safeguards, government action, third-party industrial disputes and unavoidable major equipment failures.

We will aim to communicate significant disruption and resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.

Business customers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CLV is not liable to business customers for indirect or consequential loss or loss of:

  • profit;

  • revenue;

  • anticipated savings;

  • business opportunity;

  • goodwill;

  • reputation; or

  • expected resale margin.

Subject to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, CLV's aggregate contractual liability to a business customer for a particular Trade order will normally be limited to the greater of:

the amount paid or payable for the affected order; or

the direct replacement value of goods for which CLV is legally responsible.

Different written arrangements may apply to specific high-value or bespoke transactions.

Any exclusion or limitation that would be unlawful will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law, with the remainder of these Terms continuing in effect.

22. Complaints

If you believe something has gone wrong with a submission, Retail purchase, Trade order or other CLV service, contact:

hello@clvgrading.uk

Please include, where relevant:

  • your name;

  • submission or order number;

  • certificate number;

  • an explanation of the issue; and

  • photographs or other supporting evidence.

Disagreement with a correctly recorded grading opinion is different from a complaint about how the service was performed.

Customers may raise concerns regarding:

  • administrative errors;

  • incorrect labels;

  • incorrect certificate information;

  • processing errors;

  • physical damage;

  • failure to provide an agreed service; or

  • concerns that reasonable care and skill were not used.

Damage claims should be raised promptly. CLV may request photographs, previous images, transaction records, packaging or other reasonable evidence.

We will investigate complaints fairly and within a reasonable period.

Where applicable law requires information about or participation in an alternative dispute-resolution process, CLV will comply.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, CLV does not represent that it belongs to a particular voluntary ADR scheme.

This does not prevent either party from exercising any legal remedy available to them.

23. Promotions

CLV may offer discount codes, free grading, promotions or other incentives.

These may have specific eligibility requirements, expiry dates, quantity limits or additional conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions:

  • are not transferable;

  • cannot be exchanged for cash; and

  • cannot be combined with other offers.

CLV may correct or withdraw a promotion in cases of obvious error, fraud or misuse, subject to rights already created by a binding contract.

24. Communications, Records and Privacy

CLV may contact customers using the details supplied when an order, submission or account is created.

This may include email, telephone, account notifications or another appropriate method.

Customers must keep their contact information accurate.

Operational communications concerning submissions, payments, delivery, account security and orders may be sent regardless of whether a customer has opted into marketing.

CLV may maintain electronic records relating to:

  • submissions;

  • grading and certification;

  • orders;

  • payments;

  • communications;

  • photographs; and

  • other business activity.

Electronic records, timestamps, database entries and other digital information may be used to establish the history of a transaction where legally permitted.

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Our use of artificial intelligence and website technologies is further explained in our AI Transparency and Cookie Policy pages.

25. Changes to These Terms

The version normally applying to a transaction is the version in force when the relevant contract is formed.

CLV may update these Terms to reflect changes to services, technology, operating procedures, business requirements or legal obligations.

Changes will not normally alter an existing contract retrospectively unless agreed or required by law.

The current version and update date will be published on the CLV website.

26. General Legal Terms

CLV may transfer its contractual rights or obligations as part of a legitimate business transfer or restructuring provided this does not unlawfully reduce consumer rights.

Customers may not transfer obligations where the nature of the service reasonably requires CLV's consent, except where the law provides otherwise.

Failure by CLV to enforce a provision immediately does not waive our right to enforce it later.

If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be modified or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue in force.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a person who is not a party to a contract has no right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

For business customers, these Terms together with applicable quotations, invoices, order confirmations and specifically agreed written terms constitute the agreement relating to the transaction.

Nothing excludes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, franchise or agency between Four Leaf Trading Ltd and any customer, reseller or Trade member.

No customer or Trade member may create obligations or make commitments on behalf of Four Leaf Trading Ltd without express written authority.

27. Governing Law

Consumers

These Terms and contracts between consumers and CLV are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections applying where the consumer lives.

Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections or lawful rights regarding proceedings available to customers in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Business customers

Business transactions and related non-contractual obligations are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between CLV and business customers.
